...Administration. Many of TIME's stories, including most notably the first story about the secret wiretaps on reporters and his own staff ordered by Henry Kissinger, were from FBI sources. TIME was also a leader in uncovering the fact that Nixon's vice president, Spiro T. Agnew, was taking payoff money while in office. Agnew sued the Justice Department and TIME among others, charging them with libel. On the day TIME attorneys were to answer a subpoena in that case, Agnew resigned his office rather than face prosecution. Felt, because of his high rank in the bureau and his dismay...

...Costanzo produced the album, apparently doing little more than turning up the volume on every track. “Chinese Democracy” is so loud it makes Slipknot sound sedate. Even for the masochistic soul who would endure volume levels high enough to discern any musical detail, the payoff is only in the pain. If democracy does come to China, I hope the revolution isn’t so gruesome a spectacle. Played with the volume down, though, this album would make great elevator music. Instead, the company imploded. And soon afterward, so did the price of oil, dropping some 60% in the subsequent months, to a recent price below...

...more horror to the story; in one particularly gruesome instance, a woman who has been bitten but not killed by Eli opens the blinds of her hospital room, and the results are not pretty. The woman’s story seems designed primarily to lead to the horrific payoff, which is discouraging considering that the moment in the hospital has almost no impact whatsoever on the relationship between the two youths. This complaint, however, is relatively minor when one considers the impact that the majority of the film attains. The cinematography perfectly showcases the cold, stark isolation of the film?...
