...Pee-wee Herman is a tiny but otherwise normally formed man who makes his living imitating an icky-sweet, or perhaps brain-damaged, prepubescent boy. The act consists mainly of mincing, prancing and an inane giggle, so that sometimes it seems he is a little mixed up and may be doing a bad female impersonation. His Big Adventure (directed by Tim Burton) consists of trying to recover his stolen bicycle. His big mystery lies in his strange appeal for adolescents. Wednesday was a senior bar night as well, this time at Cambridge Common, up by the quad. Highlights of the evening: losing a $5 bet on whether two friends were going to hook up (lesson: always err on the side of scandalousness); and watching my drunken guy friends pee in the streets during the long walk back to Quincy. I can only imagine that this happens every night to Quadlings, and I can only say I feel their pain...
