Penalties were inflicted on both teams for forward passing and off-side playing; but the Harvard forwards soon got down the ice together, and Pell shot the first goal on a good pass from Rumsey. The playing then became rougher, and the McGill forwards resorted to erratic tactics, unavailing because of consistent covering of their men by the Harvard team. Rumsey' was then put off the ice for roughness. Hicks at last got the puck, and all four of the Harvard forwards rushed it down the ice together, Pell scoring an easy goal...
...first score in the second half was made by Rumsey. The fourth goal was made by Pell, the puck bounding into the net after hitting the goal-post. Soon after, Raphael scored against his own team in trying to get out from in front of his goal, and within a minute Pell shot the sixth goal...
