...cookbooks for kids have come a long way since the Betty Betz Teenage Cookbook told nervous teens how to make a sandwich in 1953. This too features ample negative space and a precious few broad stroke of black paint that take the form of a penguin and a personified rectangle. The image as a whole is tragically unimaginative and isn't at all visually fleshed out.
