...United States and its allies, it is time to reevaluate their North Korea strategy if they seriously wish to denuclearize the Korean peninsula. The current approach has yielded little progress and has only given the North Koreans more time and more negotiation leverage. Instead, the US must realize that multilateral venues are not enough; to bring a peaceful solution, the Bush administration needs to be the principal actor in dealing with Kim Jong Il and take an active role uniting the other parties under common goals and tactics.
