...Amtrak strike are more likely to be commuter rail passengers than Amtrak ones. Today, ownership and operational control of major stations are in the hands of Amtrak, despite the fact that local transportation authorities generally account for many more passengers. This holds true for South Station in Boston and Pennsylvania Station in New York.
