Still, the function of a newspaper is to inform, not to proselytize; by remaining skeptical of all sides, and restricting editorial comments as much as possible to their proper place, we can perform that duty. At times this angers people--that is unavoidable, when a paper is dealing only with simplified accounts of fast-moving events.
