Despite lack of proof that a "Gulf War Syndrome" exists, the Clinton Administration today announced its support of a bill that will compensate all veterans who reported unexplained symptoms within two years of returning from the Persian Gulf. Since the war, over 23,000 veterans have experienced such ailments as chronic fatigue, depression, headaches, joint pains and skin disorders, which many claim were caused by the Iraqi use of chemical and biological agents. At the same time Washington was taking financial responsibility, Britain's Defense Ministry rejected the possibility that the condition even exists...
