TO THE PRESIDENT AND FELLOWS OF HARVARD COLLEGE:We, the undersigned, students in Harvard College, respectfully petition that the corporation provide a half-course in elementary descriptive astronomy, without mathematics for the year 1888-89; and we express our intention of taking such a course, should it be provided.
