Charley Spreyer's kicking is essential to the Crimson so a phase will probably have to be found for him in the starting quartet. If he takes over the bucking assignment from George Heiden Joe Gardella and Fran Lee are left to contend for the wingback role. Gardella is not at top physical condition so Lee seems to have the edge here...
