Harvard won from the Newtons on Holmes Field yesterday afternoon by a score of 8 to 2. Wiggin pitched and was very effective, holding the Newtons down to two singles and striking out fourteen men. In the third, fourth, sixth, seventh, eighth and ninth innings the Newtons were unable to get beyond first base, and only three of their men reached third during the entire game.
