Harvard made a run in the first inning on a base on balls given to Dean, Hallowell's sacrifice, a wild pitch and Hovey's base hit. In the third inning the Lowell pitcher was very wild, giving three bases on balls in succession. These, with Hallowell's hit, a steal, and two errors netted four runs. Another run was made in the eighth on a hit, a steal, a wild throw by Broughton, and Upton's sacrifice. In the ninth Harvard earned a run by Dean's three-bagger and Hovey's sacrifice...
