...very close and interesting game with Brown on Holmes field yesterday afternoon. Harvard out-batted and out-fielded her opponents, and won the game on its merits, but she probably would not have scored so many times in the last three innings if Woodcock had been kept in to pitch. He had to leave the game to sing in a concert of the Brown College Glee Club, and Sexton was not nearly so effective.
