...spite of the track team's defeat at New Haven, Saturday's athletics resulted very satisfactorily for Harvard. It is never pleasant to be beaten, but considering all the attendant circumstances, one cannot help being proud of the team's remarkably creditable showing. This afternoon t 2.30 o'clock the twenty-fourth annual outdoor Harvard Interscholastic track meet will be held in the Stadium. First place will count five points, second three, and third one, and medals will be awarded to the winners of the first three places. From here to the finish the second Freshman eight drew away, and the race developed into a struggle for second place between the Sophomores and the third Freshman eight, and for fourth, place between the Seniors and Juniors.
