This year a new plan is being tried in regard to the leadership of the candidates. Heretofore a temporary captain has been appointed early in the season to take charge of the squad until the final election of a permanent captain. Now the plan is being tried of placing a new leader over the squad each week. He takes charge of the men during the Gymnasium exercises and the runs.
