...Naturopathy is an interesting belief system based on the premise that the myriad ingredients in whole plant parts cancel out the side effects of the "drug" in the plant. And many drugs do come from plants. The classic example is digitalis leaf. The foxglove plant contains a chemical, digitalis, that can regulate an irregular heartbeat.
