Mason lead off for Harvard with a single to Lowe, which was thrown so wild as to let Mason to third. In trying to score on Hallowell's hit to Lowe Mason was thrown out at the plate. Hallowell stole second and immediately after stole third, showing his knowledge of the art to perfection. Frothingham was given his base on balls and then Hovey sacrificed to bring in Hallowell, Frothingham going to second. Cook struck out leaving Frothingham on base. In the second and third Harvard went out in one, two, three order...
