Eleven pairs have entered for the whist tournament of the Chess and Whist Club, which will begin this evening. The following rules have been adopted to govern the playing: All contestants will meet this evening at 7 o'clock in the rooms of the club. Matches will consist of the best three games out of five, and seven points will constitute a game. The results of the games must be left with Mr. O. Everett, 16 Little's.
