Harvard scored after a few minutes of play. An exchange of punts in Harvard's favor and short and sharp rushes brought the ball to the twenty-five yard line. Fifteen yards by Parker around the end and short line plunges enabled Kendall to make a touchdown. Lawrence kicked the goal. Superiority in punting again made a score possible. Devens returned the kick-off and Wesleyan began to rush. Twice they gained through Lawrence and then punted to Kendall on the ten yard line. Yesterday's practice lacked the usual dash and snap. This was due in part to the weather, but more particularly to the presence of several new men on the team. Baldwin, the Freshman quarterback, played the greater part of the one half of about ten minutes. He passed with a fair degree of accuracy, was effective as an interferer and keyed the eleven up to fast offensive football. Peyton, also, who completely outclassed Swain in Thursday's practice, was tried at right tackle on the first eleven in Lawrence's place. He is a valuable man on the defense...
