Criticisms of the principals in the play would be now a little premature. It may be said, however, that the two chief parts, those of Athalie and Joad are very ably taken by Miss Cushing and Professor de Sumichrast. Saturday's game with Pennsylvania was anything but a pleasant climax to the football season. Pennsylvania won the game distinctly on its merits, and proved beyond doubt that she has the best team of the season. In comparison, Harvard was unquestionably weaker in team play, especially on the offensive. There was one feature of the game, however, which was much more gratifying. Yale defeated Princeton 6 0 at New Haven on Saturday in a very exciting game, in which the Yale team showed up in greatly superior physical condition to their opponents. Not a single Yale man was put out of the game, and the men as a whole were playing as fast a game at the close of the contest as at any time during the play.
