The play has to do with the working out of an agreement between two rulers of adjoining kingdoms, made upon the arrival of an heir in each of the royal families, providing for the marriage of their children when they become of age. When the heirs grow up and manifest in a decided manner their own inclinations, complications result which provide entertaining and highly amusing situations. The scene is laid somewhere...

For the movies of the evening two dramas, a six-reel Charlie Chaplin comedy and an animated "Mutt and Jeff" cartoon by Bud Fisher have been secured. Incidental music to accompany the pictures will be furnished by a 32-piece orchestra under the leadership of J. M. Parmelee '19. The orchestra will also play the "Star Spangled Banner" as a curtain-raiser. To the music, speeches, pianologue and movies will be combined the usual beer, ginger ale, pretzels, crackers, cheese and cigarettes to make up a well-rounded entertainment...
...cast for the Hasty Pudding annual show has been selected and the dates of performances definitely decided upon. "Barnum Was Right" is the name of the play, which was written by S. P. Sears '17 and R. E. Sherwood '18. It is in a prologue and two acts, and deals with the efforts of the Spirit of the Movies to gain recognition among the arts on Mt. Olympus. Jupiter is called upon to decide, and professing ignorance of the movies, is led to the earth by the Spirit of the Movies to see them and judge their claims...
About 50 manuscripts have been handed in for the Dramatic Club play competition which closed last Saturday. This is an unusually large number to select from. The three judges, Winthrop Ames '95, Professor George Pierce Baker '87 and Walter Prichard Eaton '00 will announce the plays chosen during the first week of March...
