...Harvard, Trafford, Piper and Sears did good work. Bancroft's offside play was very noticeable and gave Exeter five yards at least four times. This should not occur again. Woodman must block harder when Harvard has the ball, and Piper should run stronger. The game was the best here this year...

Cranston, the captain and centre and Farquhar, full back are layed up and could not play. Harvard has as rushers, Bancroft, Butler, Trafford, Brainard, (centre), Woodman, Piper and Boyden. Harvard had the kick-off and the sun at their backs. After 3 downs Porter kicks the ball. Returned by Kales. Harding makes a poor pass and Morrison makes a good run. Porter carries the ball back to Exeter's 25-yard line, but the ball is not forced over. Exeter gets ball on four downs and drives Harvard to centre of the field. Holden, Sears and Butler make short runs...
