October 22, 9:47 p.m.--Two uniformed officers approached a group of people who were drinking at Forbes Plaza in Holyoke Center and asked them to leave. One of the group, Joseph Brooks of Cambridge, refused and allegedly threw a beer bottle at one of the officers. Brooks and both officers began fighting, and Robert Marshall, a bystander, joined the officers in subduing Brooks.
