Earlier at last night's meeting, Council President Edward F. Burke '50 reported that University officials are considering taking action to secure elimination of objectionable parts of the Naval Reserve Officers Training Corps loyalty pledge.
The HYRC resolution added that the Harvard faculty should apply pressure upon the Navy to change the wording of the pledge.
