There are two acts in "Panamania," the first being the interior of a theatrical Booking Office, and the second representing the Revolutionist Head-quarters near the Panama Canal. The underlying thread of the plot is that a theatrical company is engaged to give a performance in Panama; but, on their arrival, they discover that they have been misled and that the whole engagement was a plot conceived by the Revolutionists in order to capture them. They are held in captivity with no apparent discomfort, and will continue to be there for some time as far as we will ever know...

...Panamania" is a musical comedy. The book and lyrics are by P. M. Hollister '13 and J. K. Hodges '14; the music by F. R. Hancock '13, T. M. Spelman '13, and V. Freedley '14. The plot of the play has been skilfully developed by the authors, and the threads of the plot are neatly woven into a closely knit and interesting story. ...opening act of "Believe Me,. Xantippe" takes place in New York City, and the remaining three acts have for their scene the picturesque mountain region of Southern Colorado. The plot deals with the adventures of a lively young American who wagers that he can successfully escape capture by detectives and police officers after he has pretended to commit the crime of forgery. He makes a successful escape, and the chase continues for the greater part of the play, being developed with great originality on the part of the author in a manner that is sure to continuously amuse the audience...
