There is one other point in connection with today's game which deserves attention. The game between '98 and '99 was marked by a most undignified and unneccessary amount of roughness. In fact it was an exhibition of petty bumptiousness which savored strongly of high school methods. So far the Freshmen have shown no tendency to do anything but play football, and it is natural that they should continue to attend strictly to business today.
