Coach Powers has made entries in the pole-vault, shot-put, hammer-throw, and high-jump events. J. B. Camp '15 will compete in the high-jump and pole-vault. With him will be M. L. Greeley '15, the pole-vault, and J. O. Johnstone '15, in the high-jump. Camp tied for find in the high-jump at the Intercollegiate last year; and was second in the pole-vault against Yale last spring, and found in the Intercollegiates. Richards, the Olympic winner of the high-jump, and Wahl, Conference high-jump champion have been entered in this event...

More Freshman field-event men must report for regular practice if the team is to make any creditable showing this year. So far only an exceedingly small number of hurdlers, high-jumpers, and pole-vaulters have come out. More Freshman pole-vaulters are needed as only a few candidates have reported for practice in this event. The small number of candidates this year makes it possible for more individual coaching and Freshmen who have had only slight experience should take the opportunity. Practice will be held this afternoon at 3 o'clock and all candidates should report to Coach Powers in the Locker Building at that time...
