There is only one way out of this bind for this still young politician. He has to drop all masks, all obsessions with identity, all his fears of being called a sell-out, and very carefully come to reveal what he truly believes as an individual. This is what America really expects from Barack Obama...

These days, rather than be a politician himself, Dani wants to be a political watchdog. He founded an NGO two years ago called INPO, initiative for progress, which has a dozen young staff members who report to him. The organization, which takes pains to stay independent from any political party or business interest, aims to hold politicians' feet to the fire and convince citizens to do the same: protesting against missing traffic lights at a busy intersection, investigating candidates for conflicts of interest, running a get-out-the-vote drive. ...doped-up prophet. In one scene, he dances about an arcade with a troupe of leggy, chesty girls, and is clearly in his element in the music video-like setting. Likewise, Mandy Moore is apt at playing the marginal role of the rich girl who is spoiled by her politician father, while Seann William Scott slips seamlessly into the role of the confused pawn. The special effects don’t go overboard, and the film has an excellent soundtrack, but it never develops any real moments of emotion. Granted, Kelly may be attempting to parody the surrealist tradition...
