...cover of Rolling Stone has afforded the means for countless pop-culture princesses to bridge the virgin-whore divide and construct new identities as promiscuous sex symbols. Take the 1999 cover of Britney Spears: Clad in a black push-up bra and polka-dotted panties, her lips suggestively apart and her right index finger gesturing toward her privates, the singer exudes mature sexuality; at the same time, her male companion—a stuffed Tinky-Winky—and her ostensible engagement in frivolous girl-talk affirm her status as an adolescent rendered sexually unattainable by both law and taboo...
Dining Hall: Airport chic. Polka-dot upholstery aside, Mather dining hall is the center of House life, providing residents with comfy chairs and modern tables to eat, do work, or bro out. With enormous windows facing the Charles River, the setting sun provides automatic romance at dinnertime. The dining staff is cheerful and the food is delicious (because, hey, it's HUDS!) and many Matherites never leave. To fans of the free-spirited sport, that's a tough sell: Mathieson's presence on the stage at the end of competition drew loud jeers from the crowd...
...McBrayer, who plays Kenneth Parcell on the hit comedy “30 Rock,” stars as a nerd in the video whom Mariah hires to fix her computer. He shows up in full geek regalia with large rimmed glasses that belong in the 70s and a polka-dotted bow tie. Stranger than his attire is the ensuing wet dream he has of Mariah while supposedly working on her computer. After McBrayer sits down to work, we are inflicted with his vision of Mariah lying seductively in bed while McBrayer dons a gold Viking helmet with horns...
