The thundering chords, lighting and unearthly chanting of "Sanctus Spiritus" heighten the horror of the Ghost scenes. Christine Estabrook accurately represents Gertrude's struggle between caring for her son and enjoying marital happiness. Alvin Epstein is a perfectly sanctimonious Polonius.
