...minute game on Artificial Pond yesterday afternoon the University hockey team won by a score of 5 to 0 from a scrub team made up of men from the Sophomore and University squads. As a result of three days lack of practice the men played listlessly and were deficient in stick work and in keeping possession of the puck. The forwards, relying too much on the defense, were slow in following back showed little team play. There is good skating today on the Arlington and Brookline Reservoirs and on Artificial Pond at Cambridge. There is also some good ice on Spy Pond at Arlington, but the skating there is dangerous as much of the water is not yet frozen over. The skating on the Cambridge Common risk is fair...
