...sophomores and freshmen played the second and what proved to be the deciding game in their series yesterday afternoon on Jarvis Field. The game was long and dull and poorly played by both sides. Each class had a band, while firecrackers and cheering enlivened the afternoon and gave vent to the enthusiasm. Dickinson played first in his usual good style and made a pretty home run in the eighth inning. The lack of two umpires was very much felt.
