...crowded chapel awaited the service in Appleton Chapel last evening, at which Prof. Harris, - whose name has been brought prominently forward in the recent Andover trial, - was to preach. The service opened with a short prayer, which was followed by the reading of the Seventy-second Psalm. The long prayer was a petition for unity and peace among all people. After a hymn sung by the congregation, Prof. Harris gave out the text from St. Matthew, "Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself." This was humanitarianism.
