Arrangements are now being made at Amherst for a mock national convention to be held February 20th. Three hundred or more men are to be present as delegates from the different States, and the affair will be carried on as much like the national conventions as possible. College Hall will be decorated in a fitting manner, and the occasion will doubtless be one of great enthusiasm.
