Those who established the present faculty rule in regard to the time of starting of football games no doubt had a laudable purpose in view; but their concern for the academic and digestive well-being of students rather overshot its mark and struck with acute discomfort at the other end. The shades of dusk form pretty enough material for the sentimental moments in hard, slashing football stories, but for the spectators, they are a gloomy touch that succeeds in destroying a good part of the afternoon's pleasure.
