Coolidge went to British East Africa last April, and after spending a month in the jungle hunting and taking pictures, he was joined by Colby, who aided him in his work. They stayed together for two months, devoting most of their time to obtaining photographs of beasts of prey at night. At the end of this time they separated, Coolidge returning home and Colby remaining for further hunting.
