...husband may be king, but Jordan?s Princess Rania, 28, won?t be playing the queen for a while yet. She has to wait until the end of the official mourning period for Abdullah to name her queen. Still, it?s likely that Rania, a strikingly beautiful Palestinian, will capture the nation?s hearts. Intelligent and family-oriented, Rania took child psychology courses in school and was an honors student in business administration at the American University in Cairo. She had two children in their first three years of marriage but is hardly a submissive wife. She likes to hang...
...title character's Golden Age reign, Fiennes takes a backseat to the Virgin Queen, Cate Blanchett. Again, Fiennes the philanderer takes on the guise of a lovesick puppy who sacrifices everything for his one true thing. His passionate declarations of loyalty play off nicely against the sweet princess turned ice queen. The cinematographic cop-outs distract from the fluidity of the film, as does the production design, which uses color and shadow to beat the symbolic dead horse. "When my fever was getting high," Hussein later said, "some people thought it was their chance...
...Life After Death, Mase's Harlem World and Combs' debut, No Way Out--each sold more than 3 million albums. I'll Be Missing You, Combs' 1997 elegy to B.I.G., who died in a drive-by shooting, outsold every other single that year except Elton John's tribute to Princess Diana, Candle in the Wind. "Puffy is one of the main reasons for hip-hop's mass appeal," admits Ruffhouse Records boss Chris Schwartz, a Bad Boy rival. "He's made the music more accessible...
