In fact, Radcliffe officials have been in continuous contact with the Cambridge Historical Commision since last August when a preliminary design was presented to members during an informal meeting. Questions that arose during that meeting prompted the designers to refine the design prior to submitting a formal plan to members in November. At that meeting, commission members did not reject the plan but suggested minor modifications. These were made, and the plan was resubmitted and approved in December. Aida K.
