This evening Prof. Briggs continues his readings from Chaucer. While these readings have been attended by many members of the college, yet we cannot think that they have received all the appreciation which they deserve. Of readings in general, we believe it may be said that they are not fully appreciated by college students. The more popular entertainments receive crowded audiences, while the more instructive and more valuable ones are in a measure neglected.
