...Taylor cottage, being the first of the new dormitories, and so named in recognition of the efforts of Prof. John Phelps Taylor in behalf of re-endowment, is now roofed over and will be ready for occupancy in the spring. It is being built by funds given by Mr. Melville C. Day, a prominent New York lawyer, who was graduated from Andover in 1858.
