Games should be arranged with all available clubs, for it is absolutely necessary that the men should play in their proper places if they are to learn to play together. In addition to this such of last year's freshman team as are not engaged should also be willing to come out and give the new-comers the benefit of their experience. It is rather unfortunate for us that the contest should necessarily take place so early in the season, for while Princeton's season closes shortly we shall not see the end before Thanksgiving, and it was difficult to bring the team into the proper condition so long before the decisive struggle with Yale. Whether victory or defeat be ours in the game Saturday we confidently trust that the encouragement of the college will be even more freely game. ...disregard of gentlemanly honor, allowed to grow and increase by the indifference of the college and of its officials, which has long passed its day, if it ever had one,-we mean the cowardly joke of sign stealing. It seems now a recognized thing, that to lead a proper and full college life, one must steal one or more signs-the greater the number the greater the glory. But stealing it is, and to the college at large we doubt if the difference between the undergraduate who "rags" and the Bill Sykes who steals anything he can lay hands...

After fine kicking on both sides, the ball, from a kick by Moffat, was well stopped by a Wesleyan rusher, and the ball was had down too near our goal for comfort, but a fine run by Bird restored it to its proper place. Again there was kicking, very fine on both sides, Wesleyan also passing the ball with great judgment and accuracy, Saxe's punts for Wesleyan and Moffat's for Princeton being especially good. Then followed a good run by Lamar from a pass by Moffat, a run by Baker, and a fine catch by Belknap...
