Another West Coast-drama entry was CBS's Life with Father, starring Leon Ames and Lurene Tuttle. One of the greatest disappointments of last season, Life now has a new outlook. Instead of blustering about every trifle, Leon Ames now restricts his bellowing to an occasional protest of "Oh, no!" Lurene Tuttle has shed much of last year's archness, and the four children (with the exception of Master Harlan) are more recognizably human. But with the acting satisfactorily toned down, the actors last week were betrayed by a plot that threatened to go three ways at once...
