From a study of 149 couples aged 60 to 93, the Newman research team found that 70% continued to have sexual relations up to age 70 - and some of them into their late 80s. The frequency showed a wide range, from four or five times a year to three times a week, with higher frequencies in the lower socio-economic classes.
