After sophomores Ryan Maki and Kevin Du were rebuffed in turn to open the frame, Collins again provided the Wildcats with an opening fewer than two minutes in, crossing into the Harvard zone 2-on-1, then dumping the puck cross-ice to winger Brett Hemingway at the right faceoff circle.
