...respect Fincke, who played on the team for the first time this year, was the most noticeable. On the first kick-off he picked up the ball after Kendall's fumble and ran fifty yards by skillful dodging. A few minutes later he made a difficult catch of a punt on his own thirty-five yard line and ran entirely through the second eleven to the goal posts, but the ball was called back for off-side play.
