...Central Election Commission. ARENA'S official scrutineer was finally ejected by the election commission for repeatedly interrupting the vote-counting process. D'Aubuisson also claimed, without offering proof, that the U.S. had "fixed" the election, and declared that "we are not going to validate this puppet, Mr. Duarte, who they say has been bought by the CIA so it can maintain its interests."
