Early in the third period, Whittemore broke away for a brilliant 60-yard run, and was tackled on the Juniors' 10-yard line. The Juniors held for downs, and kicked. A series of short runs and a 15-yard plunge by Whittemore put the Sophomores, within striking distance, and finally Nelson carried the ball across, putting the Sophomores 2 points in the lead. Shortly before time was called, Captain Jacobs, of the Juniors, kicked a goal from the field, leaving the score 9 to 8 in favor of the Juniors. Whittemore starred for the Sophomores, and Jacobs for the Juniors...
