Yesterday afternoon the nine had its final practice before the Yale game. The men put considerable snap in their play, and the practice, though short, was unusually sharp and clean. Most of the time was spent in batting, with Hayes and C. J. Paine, Jr., '97, in the box. In the fielding, during the end of the practice, Chandler covered centre field while Burgess was moved to right.
