...FlyBy just doesn't get enough old-fashioned chances to watch people beat the shit out of each other. So obviously we weren't going to pass up an opportunity to see the first boxing exhibition on campus in decades. FlyBy took itself down to the QRAC to see the first half of the Harvard Boxing Club's first exhibition in 30 years—one which will hopefully become the annual tradition it is advertised...
...this competition has a history, which echoes from the halls of the fourth floor MAC gymnasium to the dusty parquet of the QRAC floor...
...offensive—to me and many others, it was a celebration of diversity on campus, and far from the objectionable, oppressive nuisance it was made out to be. And I’m not aware of many classmates inveighing against it or the decision to close the QRAC in dorm rooms or dining halls. Quite simply, these seem like minor issues here in Cambridge, certainly not stories worthy of prime placement in the papers of record...
