Aided by the wind the Williams men forced the ball towards Harvard's touchline and there it remained for some minutes, neither side making any brilliant plays or much headway. This uncertainty was followed by a kick of the Williams' quarter-back toward his own goal, by which Harvard darned about 40 yards before the ball was secured by the Williams' full-back.
